Note: Site loading and downloading speeds may vary. Thank you for your patience. If it's not loading at all, please contact us.

Purpose

The videos listed below have been produced to guide you through different features of the IECM, to help you get the most out of the model - whether you are a novice user or an advanced analyst. Each video lasts 5-20 minutes, and is presented by a member of the IECM research team.

Offline Viewing

The summary for each video includes a link to allow you to download the video for offline viewing. To do this, right-click the link and choose "Save link as." from the popup menu.

Captions

These videos have been open-captioned (captions embedded in the video) to allow us to ensure that the captions do not block anything important. Since the captions are embedded in the videos, they are also included in any videos that you download for offline viewing; you do not need any special software to view them.

Resources for Older Videos

Some of these videos were produced using an earlier version of the IECM which employed tabs for navigation, instead of the menus in the current graphical interface. Nonetheless, the procedures and functionality illustrated in these videos apply as well to the current model version.

There are 2 excerpts from the User Manual which may be particularly helpful if you are viewing one of the older videos. We recommend that you read the section on the session window; the last page of this section includes an illustration of how the old interface maps onto the new one. If you are completely unfamiliar with the IECM, you may also wish to go through a case study to familiarize yourself with the new interface. The full User Manual comes with the IECM, or you may download it directly.
